Gerardi Photography is a boutique studio located in Sarasota, Florida, specializing in portraits, family photography, personal and professional branding, as well as capturing all special life events. The studio primarily serves the Gulf Coast of Florida, including St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Venice, and Fort Myers, but also operates in the New York City area and accepts bookings worldwide.
Jennifer Gerardi was born and raised in New York City. She is an award‑winning photographer who earned her B.F.A. in photography from the University of Michigan.
Having lived abroad and traveled extensively, her work draws inspiration from the beauty of diverse cultures, customs, and religions.
With 16 years of experience in photography, Jennifer has gained national recognition for her work. She values diversity, inclusion, and equality, ensuring that everyone is welcome in her brand.
I’ve been shooting since 1986 and it’s become my true life path.
Jennifer is the primary photographer for all weddings and special events. She accepts a limited number of bookings each year to ensure the utmost care and individualized attention for her clients. The relationships that she creates with her brides and grooms are of the utmost importance to her. Jennifer’s approach to photographing a wedding is a perfect blend of traditional and photo-journalistic photography; She is extremely passionate and her aim is to create images that are not only creative, emotional but are a true reflection of who you are. She offers a strong attention to detail, custom wedding day timeline planning, trusted vendor recommendations, and an overall incredibly personal experience from the time you book to your final delivery.
She is a currently a member of PPA (Professional Photographers Association), and BPPA (Bay Area of Professional Photographers) and believes strongly in the importance of continuing education.
